Welcome!

As you all know, I often get caught up in the aesthetics of websites -- I guess that’s what happens when you’re anal retentive and everything must simply be perfect. I am still not sure about this slightly monochrome color scheme, but this should be fine for now ... yet it’s not enough contrast. I sound like an interior decorator.

This concept of having an open, online blog seems to be the norm of today's society. There could be someone out there just like me who may read this and say, “Whoa! That is how I feel, too!” Or perhaps, my human experience is truly unique and no one else spends nearly two hour picking out a color scheme for an online diary. Either way, I hope that this can be a place where we can share our experiences, express our thoughts, and rekindle old family bonds.

I won't post anything gooey and juicy in here yet, though you can probably expect the typical self-deprecation that comes with being compulsive from me. Within the next few days, I'll try and figure out how we can share this blog and if I can allow posting rights to other users.

Anyway, more nonsense to follow when it happens.
