Alex's 13th birthday

Alex turned 13 on Nov. 27. We were at David's parents' house for Thanksgiving and we celebrated Alex's there. Two of David's siblings ( older brother's family and a younger sister's family) couldn't make it to the gathering. Being there for a family gathering reminds me of our family get-togethers in Taiwan. Missing you and wishing you all a very happy holiday.

Spelling Bee Contest

Ilya just won the school Spelling Bee Contest. She will represent her school to participate in the Rowan County Spelling Bee Contest in February. Her winning the contest was her birthday gift for me.

Just something simple ...

I bring nothing of significance, but I just wanted to share a few clips that my friend sent me and I thought were pretty funny. After going to watch Avenue Queue (which is great too, but definitely not PG and for the easily offended), I've been trying to find a show that would match up to it as far as humor goes. As a classical music lover, I'll definitely have to look into Igudesman & Joo if they ever decide to perform in the states.

Rachmaninov had big hands.
