Ilya just won the school Spelling Bee Contest. She will represent her school to participate in the Rowan County Spelling Bee Contest in February. Her winning the contest was her birthday gift for me.
Congratulations, Ilya! I remember doing this in middle school as well, and it was a great experience for me (but also nerve-racking at times). Best of luck when you step up for the county competition =)
